A little about us

We make panties and we love it! Sometimes feeling sexy and confident starts with the first item of clothing you put on in the morning. After all happiness is an inside job 🙂 All JUNIPER products are made with you in mind, thats why we love to hear from you and we will try our best to make the changes you want to see.

Our Products

Feeling good about the panties you wear is not only about style and color but also about how they were made. We only work with factories that treat people and the environment with respect. Take a look at our MADE WITH LOVE SECTION to understand our factories better. It’s also why our goal is to transition into 100% organic and recycled fabrics. For now look out for our green stamp of approval for products that have been designed and made with sustainable fabrics and trims. Look at FABRICS section below to see the fabrics that we use.

Fabrics

Organic Cotton

Grown without harmful chemical pesticides and fertilizers, organic cotton conserves water and emits less greenhouse gasses. Making it the greener choice.

Micro Modal

Micro modal is made from renewably grown beech wood trees. It is recognized for its extreme softness and breathable qualities. As a bonus it's made in a closed-loop manufacturing process, which dramatically reduces waster and energy use.

No Show

Our no show fabric is lightweight and super stretchy. This helps prevent and digging and leaves no trace of a panty line.

Lace

All our laces are hand selected and add a little something extra to your panty drawer. We ate trying to transition all our laces to recycled alternatives.

Fabric Name

Post-consumer recycled cotton sourced from discarded cotton garments and scraps.

Micro

Unfortunately microfiber doesn't rate high on our green scale as it is made from synthetic fibers. But it is extremely lightweight and absorbent with few alternatives.

Recycled Lace

Our recycled laces are made with more than 70% recycled fibers. This way you can feel even better when wearing JUNIPER panties.

Mesh

Similar to our microfiber fabric mesh is made from synthetic fibers and doesn't rate well on our green scale.

Loved Underwear Lasts

One of the most sustainable actions you can take is to love and care for your underwear ☺ If you didn’t already know up to two-thirds of clothes’ carbon footprint occurs after you take it home. Which is great news because it means that you can help! Here are some easy ways to make a difference.

Only wash as needed- You aren’t lazy, you’re just being super environmentally friendly ☺

Make sure to always set your washer to “cold”. This will help save energy and an added bonus is that cold water makes your clothes last longer.

Unfortunately whenever you wash anything made from synthetic fibres (even if they are recycled) microfibers are shed and slowly make their way from your washer into the oceans! There are two ways to reduce the shedding of microfibers

1) gently handwash underwear in cold water or

2) use a Guppyfriend bag to capture any microfiber.

Finally, air-drying is the way to go. I bet you didn’t know this but your dryer is the third most energy hunger appliance in your home. Skipping the dryer means saving energy, cutting costs and extending the life of your panties.
